International Conference Center Hiroshima (ICCH), Japan | July 4 – July 9, 2021

MIP2020 HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO JULY 4 TO 9, 2021

As the situation on the outbreak of COVID-19 is still uncertain, the Society for Molecular Imprinting and the MIP2020 organizers have made the decision to postpone MIP2020 to July 4-9, 2021 in Hiroshima, Japan (MIP2021). As soon as we complete the rearrangement, the revised information will be posted on the web site.

The pre-registered delegate to MIP2020 will automatically be transferred to MIP2021. Please let us know if you will not be able to attend on the rearranged dates.

Your kind understanding to the rescheduling would be gratefully appreciated.

Toshifumi Takeuchi, the chair, MIP2021

The 11th International conference on Molecular Imprinting (MIP2021)

MIP2021 will be held at International Conference Center Hiroshima (ICCH), Japan from July 4 to 9. This conference aims to bring together scientists and engineers interested in molecular imprinting and related technologies, from academia and industry, in a productive and manageable environment. The scope of the conference ranges from new concepts and principles to advanced preparation techniques and industrial applications. The program will include a special session on bio-related cutting-edge research in Japan, presented by Prof. Kazunori Kataoka (DDS and nanomedicines), Prof. Takahiro Ochiya (Extracellular vesicles), Prof. Kazuhiko Ishihara (Biomaterials), and Prof. Yasushi Okada (Super-resolution imaging).

Since the first conference held in Cardiff, UK, in 2000, the MIP Conference has acted as the most relevant forum for researchers to share new ideas, discuss the most recent advancements, and exchange information. We hope that MIP2021 will provide participants with an excellent opportunity to accelerate future developments through various presentations and discussions, as well as building friendships. Hiroshima is known worldwide as an international city of peace and culture, and we will welcome all participants equally, regardless of age, sex, nationality, religion, and political belief. We are looking forward to meeting you in Hiroshima.

MIP2021 Organizing Committee, Toshifumi Takeuchi (Chair)

March 17, 2020

The MIP2020 organizing committee is concerned about the recent situation of the Coronavirus COVID-19. You may be also afraid of not being able to attend MIP2020 due to the regulation of travel abroad and/or the anxiety of infection. We are now conferring with the board members of SMI on this matter.

This is a difficult decision for us, but we believe that the attendants‘ safety and enjoyable staying in Japan are most important. We will announce our decision to all of you by the end of March, whether MIP2020 are being hold as scheduled or postponed. Your kind patience and helpful cooperation would be gratefully appreciated.
